Analyst pointed out the "point of no return" in the war against Russia.

Research fellow at the National Institute for Strategic Studies and senior analyst of the Ukrainian NGO "Come Back Alive" Mykola Bielieskov stated that the war against Ukraine is now at a critical stage — if appropriate measures are not taken in the coming months, the advantages of the Russians will grow, leading the military situation to a point of no return.
In an article for the Atlantic Council, he reminded that Ukraine's needs are well known — a significant increase in allies' support and lifting the ban on long-range strikes on targets in Russia using Western weapons, reports ZN.UA.
"It is vital to maintain Ukraine's combat effectiveness and impose growing costs on the Kremlin, while simultaneously convincing Putin that Western support for Kyiv will not wane," — noted Bielieskov, adding that much depends on who wins the US presidential elections.
Russian offensive operations and their consequences
Russian offensive operations currently underway have not yet led to decisive breakthroughs. However, the enemy's advances should not be measured solely in kilometers; they also have a psychological effect undermining the morale of Ukrainians and weakening the resolve of partners.
Bielieskov also reminded of the colossal losses that Russia is suffering on the front, which indicates that the war is not going according to the Kremlin's plan.
"Recently, Moscow convinced North Korea to provide thousands of additional soldiers. The only thing Putin definitely does not want to do — is announce another politically risky mobilization," — he commented on the situation. — "For now, he seems to have found solutions that will allow Russia to continue its offensive operations in Ukraine without mobilizing hundreds of thousands of Russian civilians".
