The corporate group of the defense and aerospace industry of France (GICAT) has officially opened its representative office in Kyiv.
This is the first foreign association of the defense industry to open a representative office in Ukraine, reports Ukrinform.
At the opening, the French ambassador to Ukraine, Gaël Vessier, and the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Serhiy Boyev, welcomed this initiative and emphasized the importance of a constant and strong presence of the French industry in Ukraine.
'This GICAT office is both an office for French defense and security companies and for Ukrainian companies that want to cooperate with us. It symbolizes our desire to build a mutually beneficial partnership,' noted the head of the international relations department of GICAT, Théo Jandrot.
The representative office will be led by the CEO of Lafayette Risk Intelligence, Thomas Moreau.
