Police Salary Structure — What It Consists Of in 2025.


The income of law enforcement representatives is shaped by many factors and is not limited to the salary alone. The average police officer's salary exceeds 20,000 UAH per month. The National Police of Ukraine explained how the financial provision for law enforcement is formed.
What Influences the Income of Law Enforcement?
According to Work.ua, the average salary of police officers is 22,100 UAH. The salary amount depends on the position, the presence of bonuses and premiums. The government resolution of November 11, 2015, No. 988 defines the main components of financial provision for police officers.
'The financial provision consists of the salary rate, special rank salary, monthly additional types of financial provision, bonuses, and one-Time additional types of financial provision.'— clarified the National Police.
Plans for Increasing Salaries
In 2022, the Verkhovna Rada considered draft law No. 6506-1, which envisages an increase in police salaries. This draft law is expected to be approved in the second reading and requires the president's signature for the introduction of a new financial provision model.
What Else Should Be Known?
As a reminder, the average salary of a labor teacher in Ukraine is 12,500 UAH. The highest salary is offered to a turning master of production training in Dnipro — 30,000 UAH. The threshold for wealth in the USA has also decreased to 2.3 million dollars in 2025.
