Ukraine is preparing to carry out its first long-range strikes using American Atacms missiles in the coming days. This was reported by Reuters, citing sources.
Two American officials and one informed source confirmed to Reuters that the Biden administration has granted Ukraine permission to use Atacms missiles for attacks on Russia.
According to the agency's sources, Ukraine plans to use Atacms missiles for long-range strikes in the coming days. The agency did not disclose details for security reasons.
Meanwhile, the White House and the State Department have declined to comment on the situation. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and the President's Office have not yet responded to inquiries.
It is worth noting that President Joe Biden granted Ukrainian military permission to use long-range Atacms missiles for attacks on Russian territory two months before the end of his term.
Later, there were reports that France and the United Kingdom also granted Ukraine permission to strike deep into Russia using their Scalp/Storm Shadow missiles.
