The Pension Fund of Ukraine has announced the mechanism for calculating subsidies for the purchase of liquefied gas and solid fuel for the 2024 year. The calculation system takes into account social consumption norms and household incomes.
According to new data, in 2024 the maximum prices have been established: liquefied gas – 382.46 UAH per cylinder, solid fuel – 3824.63 UAH per ton.
Consumption norms depend on the number of people in the household:
- for 1-2 persons – 2 gas cylinders
- for 3-4 persons – 3 cylinders
- for 5 or more persons – 4 cylinders
The norm for solid fuel is 2 tons regardless of the number of residents.
The Pension Fund provided an example of calculation:
A pensioner couple, where the husband's income for 2023 is 39600 UAH, and the wife's is 25116 UAH, can receive a subsidy of 3929.36 UAH. This amount is determined as the difference between the payment for SGTP within the norms (8414.18 UAH) and the amount of the mandatory payment (4484.82 UAH).
Housing subsidy for fuel is granted for a year and paid in a lump sum.
