Massive shelling: Ukrenergo reported on the state of the energy system.

As a result of a massive missile and drone attack on energy facilities, several regions were affected. Currently, energy workers are working on restoration. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
During the past night, the enemy carried out the twelfth massive attack on the energy system. Energy facilities were damaged in several regions. This led to an increase in power consumption restrictions, in particular, the number of hourly outages was increased compared to today’s forecast.
Emergency recovery work at the damaged facilities began immediately after the alarm. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore operations as quickly as possible after the strikes from Russia.
According to the press service, electricity consumption remains consistently high. At 6:00 a.m., it was the same as on Thursday.
Currently, the Ukrainian energy system is trying to restore its operations after twelve massive attacks by Russia since the beginning of the year, but there is still a significant power deficit. This leads to hourly outages for household consumers and power restrictions for industry and business.
Now, in all regions, three stages of hourly outages are applied simultaneously.
In the morning, alarms were sounded across the entire territory of Ukraine. Russian troops launched a missile and drone strike on our country. Russia launched 93 missiles and nearly 200 drones.
It is known that Russia has once again attacked the Ukrainian energy sector. This led to an increase in power consumption restrictions. For instance, in the Ternopil region, 50% of consumers were disconnected due to the massive missile strike.
DTEK's thermal power plants were also attacked. The Minister of Energy stated that energy workers are trying to minimize the consequences of the enemy's attack.
Earlier, on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, Russia again shelled Ukraine with calibers and X-101 missiles from Tu-95 aircraft. Hundreds of thousands of people were left without electricity.
