Medvedev Threatens World War III After Trump's Address to Putin.

Medvedev's Reaction to Trump's Statement About Putin
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev expressed his opinion after the speech of the U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the Russian leader. Trump noted that Putin is taking risks and playing with fire, and if he were not the president, many unpleasant things would have already happened.
As known, Trump previously stated that Putin is playing with fire and if he were not the president, many 'very bad things' would have already happened with Russia.
The response to this came from Medvedev, who wrote that only one very bad thing can happen – World War III. Putin's advisor urged Trump to understand this seriousness.
'Regarding Trump's words about Putin 'playing with fire' and the 'really bad things' happening with Russia. I know only one very bad thing – World War III. I hope Trump understands this!', – he wrote.
Medvedev on Problems with Peace Negotiations
Earlier, Medvedev noted that peace negotiations do not always lead to the end of the war. He urged Russia's enemies to understand that unsuccessful negotiations could provoke a new stage of fierce hostilities.
'All Russia's enemies who make ultimatums about negotiations should remember one simple thing: peace negotiations alone do not always lead to the end of hostilities. Unsuccessful negotiations can lead to a more horrifying stage of war with new weapons and participants', – he wrote.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump is disappointed with the shelling of Ukraine during the negotiations and may impose new sanctions against Russia to resolve the situation.
Recent reports suggest that Trump may change his position on this issue, but no final decisions have yet been made.
During the interactions between the U.S. and Russian presidents, contradictions have arisen that could provoke a new stage of conflict. Various negotiations and attempts to reach a peaceful resolution of the situation have so far proven unsuccessful. New sanctions and the possibility of a change in position from the American leader indicate strained relations between the countries.
