A Resident of Odesa Ignored the Call from the Military Registration Office Twice - How He Was Punished.

A conscripted man ignored a summons from the Military Registration Office to undergo a medical commission twice. As a result, the State Bureau of Investigation opened a case, which was considered in the Rozdilna District Court in Odesa region.
This was reported by Novyny.LIVE citing the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
Details of the Case
A native of the village of Nova, located in Mykolaiv region, had already been held liable and fined 1,700 hryvnias for evading mobilization. After that, the man received another summons to undergo a military medical commission, which he also ignored. For this, another criminal case was opened against him.
What the Court Decided
The individual was again found guilty under Part 1 of Article 337 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of mobilization). He must pay a fine of 8,500 hryvnias.
Recalling, we recently reported on a soldier who beat a man, stole his car, and got into an accident. We also reported on a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who walked around Odesa with psychotropic substances.
Returning to the man's case, his story illustrates the serious attitude of the state towards compliance with military legislation. Disobedience can have severe consequences, including criminal liability.Read also
