The Minister of Economy spoke about the new procedure for reserving employees.

According to the new changes to the tax legislation, military conscripts who have worked at an enterprise for less than three months cannot be reserved. The new rules reduce this period to one month. This was reported by the European Business Association, citing a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Vitaliy Kyndratiy.

For enterprises that are critically important, it is necessary to confirm their status according to the new criteria by February 28 to be able to reserve their employees. Reservations made before this date will remain valid. However, new employees can only be reserved after confirming their status.

To obtain the status of a critically important enterprise, it is necessary to meet three criteria, two of which are mandatory: the absence of tax debt and an average salary at the enterprise of not less than 20 thousand hryvnias. The third criterion is determined according to the general, regional, or industry requirements established by the relevant ministries or regional administrations.

Reservations are made through the 'Diia' portal.

For enterprises in the fuel and energy and defense-industrial complexes, the quota for reservations is 100% of employees, while for other companies, it is 50%.

Employees with deferral who work part-Time or are already reserved at other enterprises are not included in the accounting base. Cancellation of reservations is possible no more than once a month.

New procedure for reserving employees

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has published a new reservation procedure, which includes a salary criterion of 20 thousand hryvnias per month, as reported on the government’s official website.

The Ministry of Defense plans to abandon the forced conscription of citizens into military service and implement new mechanisms.

It was previously known that Ukraine plans to mobilize 160 thousand people from November to February. However, military experts and Ukrainian officials express doubt about achieving this goal, noting that it is more realistic to expect a conscription of up to 100 thousand people.
