Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans expressed his opinion that Russia's war against Ukraine will not end until 2025. He also stated that the situation on the battlefield remains complex.
Brekelmans emphasized the need to provide Ukraine with maximum military support, but at the same Time be realistic about the complexity of the situation. He also pointed out the need to strengthen the actions of Western countries, but not to overestimate their expectations.
The Minister compared the Russian invasion to a marathon that lasts a long time and called for further support for Ukraine. He also noted that Ukraine's allies should think about the long-term perspective and show that their citizens also support Ukraine.
