Mitsubishi is preparing to revive the iconic model in Ukraine

Mitsubishi Pajero was one of the most famous SUVs in the family of the Japanese manufacturer, and it is making a comeback. Recently, during tests, spies managed to photograph a mysterious model, which is likely a modern vision of the iconic vehicle.

Mitsubishi discontinued the Pajero about four years ago (the last generation was produced from 2006 to 2021). The new model may utilize the platform of the Triton/L200 pickup, which is currently offered with diesel and gasoline engines. Other rumors suggest that the completely new Mitsubishi Pajero could become a crossover and use the same platform as the Outlander. The latter is based on the CMF-C/D architecture from Renault-Nissan, which also underpins the Kadjar, Scenic, Austral, Rafale, Qashqai, X-Trail, and others.

The new vehicle is heavily camouflaged, making it quite difficult to see anything. The design of the rear end somewhat resembles the Nissan Patrol. It has a vertical nose, a large grille, narrow LED headlights, and an overall boxy design that is certainly worthy of an SUV rather than a crossover. Rumor has it that the new Mitsubishi Pajero could be unveiled in the coming months, and perhaps its launch will take place as early as 2026.

According to reports, Mitsubishi is bringing back the iconic Pajero SUV with a new model that may have pleasant changes and updates. It is known that the vehicle may receive a platform from the Triton/L200 or Outlander, and its design somewhat resembles the Nissan Patrol. The tentative release date for the new model is possibly in the coming months or even in 2026.
