A large fire occurred in Odesa region (photo).


Ukrainian rescuers are actively extinguishing a massive fire that has engulfed over 10 hectares of open land. The State Emergency Service reports this.
Due to strong gusts of wind, the fire has already reached one of the national parks in the region.
«Fire and rescue units are working to prevent the spread of fire to residential areas,» the report states.
It is worth mentioning that on the evening of March 17, Russia carried out attacks on critical infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. In Dnipropetrovsk, a powerful fire broke out as a result of a drone attack.
Additionally, it should be noted that on March 11, the Russian army captured Odesa using strike drones. As a result, a private residential house, a warehouse with children's toys, and a fuel tank caught fire. More than a hundred rescuers, volunteers, National Guard fighters, and local firefighters worked to eliminate the consequences of this strike.
