The youngest fatality was 17 years old: police have identified all participants in the horrific accident near Lviv.

The participants of the deadly accident near Lviv have already been detained by the police. As a result of the crash on the 'Ternopil - Lviv - Rava-Ruska' highway, 7 people aged from 17 to 55 died, according to the press service of the Lviv regional police. According to the investigation, a 24-year-old BMW driver crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a DAF truck. The truck then crashed into a Mercedes Sprinter minibus. All vehicles fell into the ditch, and the BMW driver left the scene of the accident.

The victims included the driver of the minibus from Rivne region, a 23-year-old man, and six of his female passengers aged from 17 to 55. Three people were injured and are currently in the hospital. The BMW driver has also been detained, who, according to preliminary data, was under the influence of alcohol. An examination is being performed.

The identity of the BMW passenger, a 31-year-old man who also left the scene, has also been established. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For this offense, the perpetrator faces 7 to 12 years of imprisonment and a 7-10 year ban on driving vehicles. An investigation has also been started under Article 136 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which may result in up to 5 years of imprisonment.

In Kyiv, a fatal accident occurred on Borshchahivska Street, resulting in the death of the car driver. In the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, a car driver hit a child at a pedestrian crossing and fled the scene. Also, in the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region, there was an accident involving nine people, including a 10-year-old child.
