Son of Hamas Founder Speaks at the UN During a Screening of a Documentary About Israel.

Screening of the Film About Hamas Attack on Israel
On November 20, a screening of the documentary entitled "Testimony of the Massacre on October 7" took place at the UN premises. This film tells the story of the attack on Israel, which was carried out by militants from the Hamas group. Representatives of the UN, diplomats, and leaders of Jewish communities attended the event.
One of the participants at the meeting, Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, one of the founders of Hamas, made a speech. He emphasized that Hamas does not recognize political borders, but this is not immediately clear to many. He also stressed that the ideological influence on Palestinian children is a crime by Hamas against Palestinian society. Children are taught to hate Israel from a young age.
At the age of 10, when I refused to obey the group, they tied me to a pole, and a high-ranking Hamas leader beat me. He considered himself the mentor of my father, who was then in prison. His goal was to make me as cruel a dictator as they were.
Mosab Hassan Yousef was the eldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, one of the leaders of Hamas in the West Bank. After several years in Israeli prisons, he realized that Hamas is a criminal organization. He witnessed the brutal treatment of political prisoners who were members of Hamas and suspected other foreigners of collaborating with Israel.
In 1996, Yousef agreed to become an informant for the Israeli security service Shin Bet. He provided information that helped prevent numerous terrorist attacks and assaults on Israelis and led to the arrest of several Hamas leaders. During his cooperation with Shin Bet, Yousef demanded to protect the lives of terrorists whose whereabouts were relayed to Israel.
In 2007, Yousef left the Middle East and received political asylum in the USA. His life story became known with the release of the book "Son of Hamas" in 2010, which was later made into a film. His father, Hassan Yousef, is also one of the spiritual leaders of Hamas in the West Bank and has spent more than 20 years in prison.
