Denis Popovich commented on the explosion of the Kurakhiv reservoir dam by Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region. He noted that the Russians hoped that this would complicate the situation for Ukrainian troops.

It was expected that the Vovcha River, which flows to the west of this dam, would overflow and flood the roads. In particular, the main road that goes from Zaporizhzhia towards Kurakhove.
