The walls of the Lutsk church were 'decorated' with the faces of businessmen. Metropolitan Dmytro commented.

Metropolitan of Lviv and Sokal of the OCU Dmytro Rudyuk stated that mistakes were made in the frescoes of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the OCU in Lutsk. He noted that the images of businessmen-patrons placed on the walls of the cathedral violate the sacred mural canon. The Metropolitan expressed the opinion that a place for such images could have been found near the depiction of the Last Judgment or in other parts of the mural. He also noted that comparing contemporary patrons with the princely rank of ancient Ukraine is inappropriate. Metropolitan Rudyuk gave examples from the history of church painting, where images of donors and patrons had their place in mural workshops. He noted that these images corresponded to the sacred architecture of church temples. Recall that portraits of Volyn businessmen were painted on the walls of the Holy Trinity Cathedral of the OCU in Lutsk. However, after protests from one of them, the fresco was painted over.
