Taiwan Conducted Response Drills for Potential Chinese Invasion.

The Office of the President of Taiwan conducted training exercises with government agencies to enhance the country's preparedness for military escalation from China. Dozens of government and public organizations participated in these drills.
The exercises were aimed at various scenarios, including high-intensity warfare with China and critical situations where Taiwan finds itself on the brink of conflict. This allowed for testing the readiness of government institutions and civil society to respond.
In the coming year, the preparation of over 50,000 volunteers is planned, who will provide assistance in emergencies, including first aid. The involvement of sectors such as taxi drivers and security personnel is also planned to alleviate the burden on government institutions.
The President of Taiwan stated that the country aims to enhance its disaster response capabilities and strengthen deterrence against the enemy during an invasion. He also emphasized that peace and stability in the region present a challenge to authoritarian states.
