Earlier, residents of the Chelyabinsk region affected by the dam breach and flooding complained that they were forced to solve the problem of pumping out water on their own.
It is worth noting that this is not the first dam breach that has occurred in Russia recently. In the city of Orsk, the second-largest city in the Orenburg region, the dam was destroyed during the flood on the evening of April 5. The next day, another breach occurred in the protective structure. Additionally, the Kurgan and Tyumen regions have been warned of the risk of flooding due to an abnormal rise in water levels.
Later, in the city of Orsk, Orenburg region, near the village of Lesotorgovo, another dam breach occurred.
The mayor of Orenburg stated that the flooding in the city is expected to be unprecedented, and the situation will only worsen, so residents need to evacuate urgently. This is reported by Russian publications.
