An empty canvas is being sold at auction in Germany for 1.5 million euros.

A painting by Robert Ryman titled 'General 52x52' was presented at the German auction house Ketterer, which is awaiting sale. Experts estimate its value to be between 1 and 1.5 million euros.

This canvas was created in 1970 and impresses with its unique technique. It uses enamel applied to cotton fabric. The previous showing of the painting took place in Berlin and was limited to avoid damaging the canvas. However, experts confirmed its unusually good condition.
