Ukraine considers negotiation options after invasion of Russia, but not with Putin — media.

Ukraine is considering a grain initiative model under which Russia and Ukraine entered into separate agreements with intermediaries.
Ukraine's operation in the Kursk region has strengthened Ukraine's negotiating position. The agreement model, which is increasingly being discussed in Kyiv, is inspired by the July 2022 agreement that allowed Ukraine to resume grain exports from the Black Sea. Under this diplomatic format, Russia and Ukraine worked on separate agreements under the supervision of the UN and Turkey as intermediaries, without a direct agreement between Moscow and Kyiv, writes Veronika Melkozerova, a correspondent on Ukraine issues at Politico Europe.
An agreement model similar to the grain initiative "could overcome this stalemate," said two senior Ukrainian officials in an interview with Politico.
"This is the plan we aspire to," said an official close to the Office of the President of Ukraine, on condition of anonymity.
The basis for what Ukraine aspires to is a 10-point plan developed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in 2022, which covers a range of topics such as food and energy security, the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity, and the withdrawal of Russian troops.
"The sooner Russia agrees to restore a just peace, including based on the peace formula that leads to such a peace, the sooner raids by Ukrainian defense forces on Russian territory will cease," said Georgiy Tykhiy, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, at a briefing in Kyiv last week.
