Ukraine offered Moldova assistance in addressing the energy crisis.


UKRAINE AND MOLDOVA REMAIN IMPORTANT PARTNERS
A meeting took place in Kyiv between Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Moldovan President Maia Sandu, during which issues of countering hybrid threats and developing economic partnership were discussed.
Prime Minister Shmyhal stated about the common threat posed by Russia, emphasizing that the Kremlin uses its energy resources as a tool against other countries.

During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed, including economic cooperation. Trade between Ukraine and Moldova has increased by 12%, indicating a positive dynamic in relations.
Particular attention was paid to the development of logistics and improvement of transport links between the two countries and the European Union. The importance of coordinating actions in the area of European integration and exchanging experiences was also highlighted.

Shmyhal also expressed gratitude to Moldova for its support in countering Russian aggression and for assistance to Ukrainian citizens. He particularly noted President Sandu's role in the development of cooperation.
Earlier, Zelensky and Sandu signed a joint statement on key issues.
