Ukraine wins historic gold at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship.


The Ukrainian team won gold at the Euro-2025 Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship for juniors in Tallinn, Estonia. This happened on the first day of the tournament. The team included gymnasts: Anastasia Nikolenko, Oleksandra Nikol Samoukin, Kateryna Shershen, Margarita Melnyk, Agata Bilienko, and Taisia Redka.
This is the first gold for Ukraine in group all-around competition at the junior level at the Euro. In addition, the Ukrainian team reached the finals in individual apparatus events, which will take place on June 4.
How the qualifications of the first day of Euro-2025 Rhythmic Gymnastics went
Ukraine won gold in the group all-around with five hoops and five clubs. Our team entered the final with the second best result in hoops with the highest difficulty coefficient. With a score of 24.7 points, they took second place after Spain. With hoops, our gymnasts placed third and advanced to the final. In total, the team scored 48.2 points in two disciplines.

In the final performances with hoops, which will take place on June 4 at 18:55, and clubs, which will start at 19:40 Kyiv Time, Ukrainian athletes will participate. In addition, Nazar Chepurnyi won bronze in the men's artistic gymnastics.
The final participants in the vault event included eight athletes, including the Ukrainian Nazar Chepurnyi. He won bronze with a score of 14.583 points. This was Chepurnyi's third final at the tournament.
