Umerov boasts about the 'unprecedented scale' of Ukrainian drone production: supplied to the Armed Forces.

Ukraine is increasing its military-industrial complex
In 2024, Ukraine significantly developed its own military-industrial complex. This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov on Facebook.
According to him, the drone industry in Ukraine has grown, reaching unprecedented production scales this year.
'96.2% - this is the share of all UAVs for the Defense Forces that were Ukrainian drones this year. Thanks to orders from the Ministry of Defense in domestic production, we are meeting key needs of soldiers, reducing dependence on supplies from partners,' Umerov said.
In 2024, Ukrainian enterprises manufactured and assembled:
- over 1.5 million FPV drones (including DSSZZI);
- strike bomber drones;
- kamikaze drones;
- reconnaissance wing drones;
- long-range deep strike drones.
Umerov emphasized that these numbers indicate a new level of efficiency in cooperation between the state and Ukrainian UAV manufacturers.
'Cooperation with domestic enterprises will remain our priority in 2025 as well. We support the Ukrainian economy and provide soldiers with the best weapons for victory,' the Minister of Defense added.
