In Odesa, the memory of the Holodomor victims in Ukraine was honored.

In Odesa, a solemn ceremony was held to honor the memory of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine. This terrible tragedy caused immense suffering and loss to the Ukrainian people. However, during the Soviet era, it was forbidden to speak of it, so the memory of the Holodomor was passed down through generations.
Today we speak of this genocide loudly, so that the whole world knows and remembers the millions of innocent lives destroyed by Ukraine's eternal enemy - Russia. This year we also commemorate the victims of the Stalinist genocide, which continues during the military actions provoked by Russia against the Ukrainian people.
Every fourth Saturday of November, Ukraine honors the memory of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933, as well as the mass artificial famines of 1921-1923 and 1946-1947.
A divine service began at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in memory of the victims of the Holodomor in Ukraine, attended by President Volodymyr Zelensky and his wife Olena Zelenska.
