According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of August 15, 2024, the losses of the Russian occupiers were updated.
Russia's losses in the war as of August 15, 2024
The Russian Federation as of August 15 suffered the following losses:
- personnel - approximately 595,620 (+1,220) people,
- tanks - 8,484 (+8) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 16,426 (+24) units,
- artillery systems - 16,868 (+47) units,
- MLRS - 1,154 (+3) units,
- air defense systems - 922 (+1) units,
- aircraft - 367 (+1) units,
- helicopters - 328 (+0) units,
- UAVs of operational-tactical level - 13,598 (+50),
- cruise missiles - 2,428 (+2),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 22,775 (+65) units,
- special equipment - 2,813 (+0).
Occupant fleet activity as of August 15:
- In the Black Sea, there is only one enemy ship, which is a carrier of "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
- There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there is only one enemy ship, a carrier of "Kalibr" cruise missiles.
In the past day, the Kerch Strait saw the passage of:
- to the Black Sea - nine ships, of which six continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 11 ships, of which one was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
The full-scale war on the territory of Ukraine has been going on for 994 days.
