Putin involved North Korean military in the war against Ukraine - Zelensky
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Russian leader Vladimir Putin involved North Korean military in the combat operations against Ukraine to avoid mobilization in Russia. According to Zelensky, Putin is afraid of mobilization in his country, as it negatively affects his ratings, and the majority of Russian residents do not support such a move. The president also informed that already 3,000 North Korean military personnel are in Russian camps, and their number will increase to 12,000 soon.
Earlier, a representative of Ukraine at a UN Security Council meeting announced that the North Korean military might begin direct involvement in combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in November. This was confirmed by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who noted that the military from North Korea are deployed in the Kursk region of Russia. According to intelligence reports, the first North Korean military personnel will be used by Russia in combat zones by the end of October.
