Zelensky announced receiving financial aid from the United States and work on using frozen Russian assets

In his daily address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Ukraine received a new tranche of financial assistance from the United States in the amount of 3.9 billion dollars. At the same Time, the president noted that Ukraine is working with the European Union to receive another 4 billion euros in aid in August.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of the quick implementation of military aid packages, emphasizing that the most important thing is to arm our soldiers. The president confirmed that there should be as little time as possible between the announcement of aid packages and their use at the front.

The president also announced work on using frozen Russian assets. He mentioned that there is a G7 decision to allocate 50 billion dollars to Ukraine using these funds.

Zelensky also mentioned that the government is working on preparing for the new academic year and heating season. The priority is to ensure offline learning in schools where possible, taking into account the security situation.

The president also mentioned Botswana's joining of the summit's communiqué on the Ukrainian 'formula of peace'. He emphasized that the goal is to prepare a real basis for a fair end to the war this year.
