Dollar exchange rate in Ukraine: expert reported whether to expect surprises before June 1.

Dollar and euro exchange rate forecasts
The director of the financial markets and investment activities department of 'Globus Bank' Taras Lesovyi stated that the market demonstrates resilience and predicted that this trend will continue until the end of May. It was noted that the exchange rates of the dollar and euro will fluctuate within known limits: dollar - 41.6-41.8 hryvnias, euro - 45.5-47 hryvnias.
The American currency will remain below the level of 42 hryvnias. The dollar-to-euro ratio will reflect global trends: for one euro, they will give 1.10-1.15 dollars.
It was also noted that after the end of the tax period, market participants may show more initiative in trading operations. The expert emphasized that no significant increase in interventions is expected, as the market operates in a war environment.
Characteristics of the currency market
- minimum difference (spread) between buying and selling rates;
- minimum current rate changes;
- actual absence of differences between interbank rates and cash market.
According to Lesovyi, next week the corridors of currency changes are expected to be within 41.6-41.9 UAH/USD and 45.5-47 UAH/EUR. Currently, the currency market seems quite stable, and significant exchange deviations are not expected.
Recently, the National Bank of Ukraine announced possible decisions regarding the euro, but the details remain unknown.
